![]() Get to pulling and stapling, because in Portside’s Upholstery class it’s all about that. My experience in the Upholstery class was amazing. It was cool because you see people remaking old furniture they love into new. As I interviewed four people from the class they said nothing but good things about Portside and their classes. One lady named Catherine said to me “I love coming here because you never see any Upholstery classes around anymore so I feel lucky Portside has one”. And as I kept on interviewing I interviewed another lady name Tresha and she said Upholstery is all about pushing and pulling in her opinion because she is pulling old fabric out and pushing new fabric in.

![]() Classes at Portside! Come check them out just like I have and meet exciting children teen and adult artists. I had a good experience and feeling being in one of the Portside’s after school programs. I found myself in an Arts & Crafts class where all the kids were gluing, sticking, coloring & painting with big happy smiles on their faces. As I walked around watching and taking pictures of the kids, a young boy name Sebastian came up to me & said “Hey what are you doing?” so I replied and told him I was working on a school project. From there on I began to ask him questions about the art class and if he liked coming. I learned that Sebastian likes coming to Arts and Crafts because he gets to spend time with his little brother and gets to do all different types of art. |
